For those who can rise to the challenge, this is an opportunity to gain interesting medical work experience in a safe and supported environment. Working in some of the world’s most exciting destinations, you’ll gain first-hand knowledge alongside the medical teams in malaria wards, operating theatres, delivery rooms, casualty units and other clinical settings.

We’ve chosen our destinations to offer exciting and adventurous opportunities outside the hospitals as well as in them. Whether you’re swimming with dolphins off paradise beaches, trekking to remote tribal villages, watching lions on safari or helping at the local orphanage, weekends are never boring!

Since 2005, we’ve organised once-in-a-lifetime medical experiences for over 2,000 students around the world. Our comprehensive support package has been developed to help you get the most out of the clinical, cultural and social opportunities of a medical gap year, summer vacation placement or a break from your pre-medical degree.
