Dentistry in the Caribbean

St. Lucia is a great choice for dentistry work experience in one of our partner dental clinics located in the island’s capital. You’ll have the chance with other Pre-dental students to observe routine extractions and fillings as well as a range of more advanced surgical procedures, under the supervision of an experienced local dentist as your personal student mentor.

Pre-dental students who have a wider interest in healthcare generally are welcome to join our clinical teaching sessions, all of which are free and exclusive to all Gap Medics students.
Sessions run three afternoons a week either at the hospital or at the house and are led by a range of different healthcare professionals covering basic clinical skills and local health issues.
All of our St. Lucian dental placements are within easy travelling distance of the Gap Medics house.
